Ideal setting, lovely building, extremely friendly, informative, efficient and helpful staff, relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, comfortable room, nice breakfasts, great surrounding area and reasonable price.
I enjoyed staying at the hotel as it catered to the things that I needed to make my stay comfortable. There is a fridge in the rooms so your able to keep some snacky foods and drinks cold. There is satelite though for Brits not much good as only CNN. The rooms are spacious, airy and very clean. If you needed anything staff were happy to help. Trips can be arranged by the hotel, but I did some myself as others could be cheaper, good to look around at times. I found the location a bit far from the Main Market Square of Krakow, but great if you enjoy walking. I would recommend this hotel to all travellers and Krakow to anyone who loves history and beatiful architecture. I was a single traveller and felt very safe, relaxed and had a magnificent time.
I liked the hotel, but did find one member of staff quite difficult. They were not one for small talk, were quite pushy and blunt. They were happy to help, but were soon irritated if you did not agree, or had other ideas, or took too long (in their eyes) to decide and you were always expected to answer like an obediant child. It was quite funny really, I just think that sometimes it's nice to show an interest in your customers, it makes all the difference. Pretentiousness is not attractive.
I have stayed in Krakow many times and have stayed in Hotels and Hostels at higher and lower prices, I found the Eden was clean, tidy, well maintained and very comfortable, I also found the staff very friendly and helpful with the rooms cleaned on a daily basis, The food was excellent! I plan more trips to Krakow and from now will stay in the Eden Hotel without a doubt. Thank you very much for a very enjoyable stay in my favourite city Krakow! John Guy England.
The location in the middle of the Jewish Quarter Kazimierz was perfect,- it was very quiet, yet a short walk from cafes, bars and the Old Town. The hotel itself is a historic building, with high ceilings and a rustic stone cellar. We liked the Jewish heritage, eg the mezuzahs on the door frames. We had our key and could come and go as we liked. The shower room was very clean and the shower hot and powerful. Everything was clean and well looked after. The beds were good. The breakfast buffet offered lovely bread and yoghurt, as well as lots of savoury dishes. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They provided us with a lunch bag for our last morning because we had to leave early.
It would have been nice to have an armchair or a small sofa in the room. Maybe an additional pillow and blanket on the bed would have been nice. They used a room scent/air freshener in the breakfast room which was a bit overpowering.
Friendly and helpful staff
Our room was on the street side of the hotel and it was too noisy to be completely satisfactory. The weather was warm enough that we needed to open a window in order to be cool enough to sleep and that allowed in excessive street noise. The breakfast offerings were neither particularly interesting nor sufficiently varied.
Hotel is very well located on a quiet side street with very little people or traffic noise and only about 100yrds to many restaurants, bars and main attractions.
Nice spacious bedroom area with wardrobe dressing table and chairs. Bathroom very clean and large also.
Hotel Eden was set in a quiet, secluded part of the Kazimierz district of Krakow. The staff were keen to help, very friendly and knowledgable. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was a buffet style with plenty of choice with fresh food in a medievil style setting. This was excellent value for money.
There was nothing to dislike, the only additiona I would suggest would be tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms.
Location, staff, beds. This was our second visit and we brought our family too.
sauna and bar not open for the second visit
The staff were outstanding. They arranged transportation and tours. They made us breakfast to go because we had an early flight. Also excellent breakfast. The location was amazing as we wanted to be in the Jewish area.
The room was warm - no AC.We did ask for and got a fan at no charge.
The room was spacy and comfortable, staff was very nice and helpful, location was excellent for us, (Jewish neiborhood, Synagoges, restorants, points of interest and so on. Little problem with getting internet connectin, but the overall was very sutisfactory and positive experience.
Difficulties with internet connection.
Its fine clean and friendley do not change it.
Water was cold in the showers on saturday &sunday in several rooms.
The staff are absolutely great as all the Cracovians!
Lack of shades and proper curtains in the windows.
It was a nice hotel in a very convenient location. The reception staff were friendly and informative. Good services and facilities were provided. We had a lovely room on the top floor of the hotel. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of visiting Krakow. 8/10
The bed was a little on the firm side and it affected our sleep pattern. A more varied choice for the hot breakfast would have been preferred (scrambled egg option instead of hot frankfurters every morning ).
Comfort, stay in a good place, close to old city and Wavel. Beautiful breakfestroom, people very kindly.
Great customer service , great location , friendly staff , quiet location and heart of tradition
